The majority of people that experience a relationship melt down feel a need to get back together with their ex. There is a comfort factor in not being alone. If the relationship was a healthy one before the split, then its probably a good idea to try and mend the relationship. If your ex ever used physical violence or mental abuse toward you, its probably not a good idea to become involved with them again. If this was the case and your ex parted with you then you should consider it a favor and move on with your life.
Most people have experienced a break up or two in their lifetime. Even if someone has gone through it a few times, they are not immune to the frustration that is caused by a break up. It never gets easier to handle, but with a little bit of common sense and help you can be on your way to repairing the relationship and getting your ex boyfriend back.
When you first meet someone, everything about your relationship is wonderful. Neither of you can do anything wrong, but after a while you begin to get used to the other person and comfort sets in. Once this happens, all the little things that perhaps you thought were cute or were willing to overlook, actually begin to bother you now. This is the point that becomes the “make it or break it” test. Nobody is perfect and once the two of you realize and accept that, you and your ex will see the good in each other.
The reality is, 90 percent of all broken relationships can be mended, provided you take some necessary steps to get your ex back. The first step in learning how to get your ex back is to try and figure out what led to the break up in the first place. To accomplish this easier, you need to temporarily accept the break up. Tell your ex you are ok with it and live your life as if you are moving on. Once you do this you can eliminate all the stress and tension that goes along with a break up. At this point you will have time to think about the relationship and it will also give your ex some alone time. Absence has a way of making people realize how much they miss each other and if you are meant to be together, this can be the first sign.
The next step is to try and sit down with your ex and talk things out. See if you can set a time when both of you have some time to relax and casually chat. Don’t use this time as a blaming or shouting match. Keep your emotions out of it or you can end up in a fight. You want to talk about the issues objectively. Once the two of you have talked through your problems you can need to give each other some space to think things over. Don’t cut off communication completely but don’t pester your ex. You may want to email or text your ex with a simple “hey what’s up?. Little by little you will find that the two of you will be reverting back to when you first got together.
An important step in getting your ex back is to always look your best. Make sure you look sharp any time you expect to see or run into your ex. Appearance plays an important role in showing your ex that you are not sitting at home drowning in your grief and may make your ex think someone else can find you attractive. This will have a positive impact on your ex.
Never try to get back at your ex or make your ex jealous. You want to show your ex that you are doing ok, so you appear strong, but not to the point where they feel you have moved on. If they see that you are self confident it can inspire them to get back together with you.
These are the beginning steps in winning your ex back. Be yourself and remain honest and you can be on your way to getting your ex back.
The steps above are a starting point in mending a broken relationship. Getting back with an ex is a bit more complicated than what is outlined here but it is a good start and will get you well on your way to getting your ex back.
